Troubleshooting[]
Engrams not loading, something amiss ?
- Make sure Extinction Core is FIRST in your mod order. If it is not first, you will NOT see engrams, and parts of the mod will not load or may glitch.
- Some dinos will despawn or die instantly when force tamed. This is because they were causing save file corruptions, and these precautions were placed into the game. Do NOT try to force tame these. If your dino has despawned, it may be because it was : A Diety, A Pygmy, A Scion, A Force Tamed Boss, A Force Tamed Primordial
- The Grapple Hook is currently BUGGED, where you will glitch into the earth. Spam "c" to try to mitigate this problem.
- To make sure Extinction Core Dinos spawn, be sure to do a wild dino wipe with the command cheat destroywilddinos. After a while you should see messages pop up that things like Dieties and Primal Tek Dinos are spawning.
- If you are running Extinction Core with Structures Plus, feel free to use the S+ Tek Transmitter to scan after doing a wild dino wipe to see if there are Extinction Core dinos spawning in.
- If you are running a stacking mod with Extinction Core, make sure the stacking mod is second, after Extinction Core in the mod list to avoid any mishaps.
- Extinction Core Runs best on maps that have multiple large biomes, such as Ragnarok or The Center. Running it on other maps with their own vanilla dino spawns or special dino spawns may cause overspawning and/or certain creatures to not spawn.
- Ex; if there is no ice biome, the Diety of Winter and Winter Scions may not spawn.
Known INcompatibilities[]
- DO NOT RUN EXTINCTION CORE with any mod that un-nerfs flyers. Extinction Core has a default already has flyers unnerfed. If you add another mod that uses Un-nerfed Flyers, you WILL get overspawning problems.
- EX : Classic Flyers , Naj's Speedy Flyers
- DO NOT RUN EXTINCTION CORE with any mod that adds new version of the VANILLA dinos or replaces VANILLA dino spawns UNLESS you have tested it before. Because Extinction Core uses it's OWN Vanilla versions of dinos, they use their own Spawn Path within the mod. Running it with other mods that have their own version of vanilla dinos also will likely cause overspawning problems.
- DO NOT RUN EXTINCTION CORE with other mods that act as OVERHAULS to the game. Two game overhauling mods cannot be run at the same time as each other.
- EX: Annanuki Genesis, Primitive Plus, Dragonpunk

GENERAL[]
Q) Is this mod the successor of Annunaki Genesis?
A) No, Extinction Core is a standalone project. It is in no way connected to Annunaki Genesis.
Q) How come my corpse inventory is empty?
A) This is a general bug. Your corpse has two inventories, whereby the second inventory contains your gear & items.
Q) Why can't I see any of the Extinction Engrams?
A) This is because the mod is not loaded as first priority.
Q) What is the max level of the creatures (default)?
A) This is based on the used map's default setting. However, you can change this via your GameUserSettings.ini via adding OverrideOfficialDifficulty=XX, whereby XX is the value you want to use (e.g. OverrideOfficialDifficulty=20 will give max level (30*20)=600 wild).
Q) Is this mod compatible with other mods?
A) If they work in conjunction, then yes, otherwise no, as nothing is changed which would otherwise block ‘clean’ stacking mods. NOTE: This doesn't count for primary engrams.
Q) What maps can I use this mod on?
A) Basically any map that uses all the spawn entries of the ADK. If they use custom entries, you'll need to manually overwrite them.
Q) What can I do about a map’s low spawn rates? A) In your GameUserSettings.ini, change the following to an amount that your prefer:

Q) Why can’t I find certain creatures that I’m used to with vanilla Ark? A) Spawn Tables are redone from scratch. This is to counter overpopulation because next to the new creatures, the creatures from the Scorched Earth are included as well.
Q) Where I can find the console commands?
A) At the workshop description, click on Console Commands.
Q) Is there an alternative for uploading updates?
A) No, if you’re using a remote server, I would recommend using FTP.
Q) What do I lose when I uninstall the mod?
A) Everything connected and part of this mod.
CREATURES[]
Q) How come I can't unclaim certain creatures (e.g. Alpha's)?
A) This is intentional and will not change.
Q) What does Saddle Taming mean?
A) This is used when a creature requires a saddle to be equipped, when untamed and knocked out. It will then instantly tame the designated creature.
Q) What does Savage Taming mean?
A) By putting a tamed creature of yourself on aggressive, it will attack the designated creature that requires Savage Taming, whereby it will be killed and gain affinity, eventually resulting in the creature getting tamed.
▬ NOTE: Make sure the creature used to combat the wild designated creature is weaker, otherwise the target will end up getting killed, instead of tamed.
Q) How do I defeat a Deity?
A) Use the progressive Boss Tier creatures. Lower Tiers will be annihilated to maintain progression.
Q) How do I replace the nude female NPC’s?
A) Under discussions, view the 'NPC Nude Replacers' topic.
Q) The NPC's swarm the map, how can I reduce (but not remove) them?
A) Modify this line, whereby X is the amount you prefer.

Q) Certain creatures don’t eat once tamed. What can I do about that?
A) Craft and feed them their respective Baby Food.
Q) How can I tame a specific new creature?

Q) How can I tame the Alpha Carnivores & Herbivores?
A) You’ll need the same kibble as their respective counterparts use. NPC’s provide kibble when killed in their inventory.
Q) How can I tame the Boss creatures (e.g. DodoRex)?
A) You’ll need to knock them out with Metal Tranq Arrows and equip their respective saddle when knocked out.
Q) Why doesn't my tamed Boss Tier creature eat?
A) It will only consume it's respective Baby Food once tamed.
Q) Why are some Alpha's pink colored?
A) This is a gender indicator. I've added this diversity for the female players in the Ark Community, and to make it easier for players to differentiate between genders in the wild.
Q) Does the Titanosaur disappear and can it mate?
A) The Titanosaur is overhauled for PvE. This means it can breed, it won't disappear and it can appear more then 3 times on the map.
Q) Can Wyverns mate?
A) Yes, but only the non-Alpha variants.
Q) How do I obtain Wyvern Milk?
A) By killing and looting Wyverns, instead of knocking them out.
Q) Why can’t Bronto’s harvest anymore berries?
A) To counteract the excessive amounts of lag. You can optionally replace them for vanilla Bronto’s via your Game.ini by adding:
